  Some reporters covering crime, police, or revenue beats use their influence and connections to earn unofficial income by suppressing, altering, or exaggerating news. This practice is commonly known as " envelope journalism " or " patronage ." Sometimes, misuse of the " Press Club Card " leads journalists to act as facilitators or middlemen, handling personal or others' tasks in return for commissions or fees. Some journalists also unofficially do PR work for organizations or individuals, helping maintain positive images or suppress negative news, and get paid for it. My question to Pakistani journalists is: how do they afford a lavish lifestyle on a salary of just 30–40 thousand rupees? Freedom of press and journalistic accountability should go hand in hand.  have never personally met Shoaib Iftikhar , but I have heard he is a seasoned journalist with extensive contacts. He holds influence, backed by the tag of major institutions like Roznama Quam and Roznama Khabrain . He is the uncrowned king of the Crime Beat . Recently, the CCD Police arrested him after registering a case of extortion/bribery ( Bhari Khori ) against him. They then shaved his head and plucked his eyebrows. As far as this act is concerned, it is an inhumane method. On the other hand, some friends say he is a very corrupt person. Meanwhile, some fellow journalists claim this oppression was unleashed in retaliation for writing a diary entry against the CPO Multan , Chutta Sahib , and the CCD. God knows what the truth is. My one question to the journalists of Pakistan is: How do they manage to live a lavish lifestyle on a salary of 30-40 thousand rupees?   Dead body listen voice By Honey Bin Tariq ( اِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتٰى وَلَاتُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاۗءَ اِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِيْنَ (سورہ نمل آیت ۸۰ ) (اے محبوب نبی ﷺ ) آپ نہ تو مردوں کو سنا سکتے ہیں ، اور نہ ایسے بہروں کو اپنی پکار سناسکتے ہیں جو پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگے جارہے ہوں ۔‘‘ اس آیت شریفہ کے معنی واضح ہیں کہ کوئی بھی مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتا ،کیونکہ جب نبی مکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نہیں سنا سکتے تو دوسرا کوئی کیسے سنا سکتا ہے مردوں کو سنانا کسی کے بس میں نہیں : پیغمبر اکرم ﷺ کو خطاب کر کے ارشاد فرمایا گیا کہ ” آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) – اے پیغمبر!- مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتے ” ۔ اگر یہ مان بھی لیا جائے : کہ یہاں اس آیت میں کفار کو مردوں سے تشبیہ دی گئی کہ جس طرح آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتے اسی طرح ان کفار کو بھی سنانا اور حق قبول کرا دینا آپ کے بس میں نہیں ۔ اور ظاہر ہے کہ یہ تشبیہ اسی صورت میں صحیح ہو سکتی ہے جبکہ مردے نہ سنتے ہوں ۔ ورنہ اس تشبیہ کا کوئی معنیٰ ہی نہیں رہ جاتا ۔ لہذا اہل بدعت کی یہ خوشی فہمی یا مغالطہ آفرینی پا در ہوا ہو جاتی ہے کہ ...

 حدیث کا متن (اختصار کے ساتھ) رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: > "يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ أُوَيْسُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ مَعَ أَفْوَاجِ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ، مِنْ مُرَادٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ قَرَنٍ، كَانَ بِهِ بَرَصٌ فَبَرَأَ مِنْهُ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ دِرْهَمٍ، لَهُ وَالِدَةٌ هُوَ بِهَا بَرٌّ، لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكَ فَافْعَلْ" --- ترجمہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: “تمہارے پاس عنقریب أوَيس بن عامر آئیں گے جو یمن کے قبیلہ مُراد سے ہیں، پھر قبیلہ قرن سے ہوں گے۔ ان کو کوڑھ کی بیماری تھی لیکن اللہ نے شفا دے دی، صرف ایک درہم کے برابر نشان باقی رہ گیا۔ ان کی ایک والدہ ہے اور وہ ان کے ساتھ بہت نیک سلوک کرنے والے ہیں۔ اگر وہ اللہ پر قسم کھا لیں تو اللہ ان کی قسم پوری کر دے۔ پس (اے عمر!) اگر تم ان سے ملاقات کر سکو تو ان سے اپنے لیے دعا اور استغفار کروانا۔” --- حدیث کے حوالے 1. صحیح مسلم، کتاب فضائل الصحابة، باب من فضائل أويس القرني، حدیث نمبر 2542 2. مسند احمد، مسند عمر بن الخطاب، حدیث نمبر 213 3. المستدرك للحاكم، ج 3، ص 455  اس حدیث کی سند ھی صحیح نھیں اس میں ایک راو...
